New Life

Where does time fly??? Expecially when you loose access to a computer? It's been fun living in our new house. The kids really enjoy the freedom to ride their bikes to and from school. They like their teachers and have made some new friends. I think Hunter likes playing T-ball...he was able to sign up just in time. He is handsome in his uniform. (I thought he wouldn't wear it for a little bit...but now he likes it)

Autumn is having fun with her animals. She has rabbits, chickens, a horse, and baby chicks. If you ask me it's too much because my kids are little animals still.

Happy Mother's Day to all those who are mother's and even those who are not mother's. My kids were sure nice they gave me gifts from school spelled happy mouthers day-i love you allwaze. Too CUTE! Then Sat. we went to topaz mountain and found some crystal's and Dillon gave me those. The best was we were on the drive there and we saw some cattle being driven by some horses and Jared said, "look they are driving those cows" Dillon asked, "How do you drive a cow?" Silly stuff like that is what I would miss out on if I wasn't their mom.

Fun with Parker

The last 2 years Parker invited us to his Hope Kid event at Hollywood Connections. The kids wouldn't let me miss it. It's like a mini Lagoon all indoors. Autumn's favorite was the Carousel. Hunter's was the Mini golf. I think he played 5 games and Dillon loved the Dragon Roller Coaster. He went on it 20 times. CRAZY! It was way fun to be there with Sheila, Jordan, Lexie, Parker, Raychel, Shayden, Gavon, and Ashlin, and Alisa. Fun Family Time!!!

Work, Work, WORK

Hunter likes our new carpet. It looks like to me that he is scooting in circles on the rug.
And Autumn say's that he looks like a carpet beetle because of all that black :)

This is the kitchen. We are still putting in the floor.

This was the room...over 2000 holes to cover and a lovely shade of Christmas red.

Autumn came in marching saying "Indiana, Indiana" and wouldn't stop saying it. She is playing a game and wouldn't stop for my picture. (I just think that she is jumping for joy that we are done and can start moving. ;)

Jared, the kids, and I have been working on our new house. It is lots of work to paint a house! I have to give Grandma's and Grandpa's lots of credit, too! They have been good cheerleader's/worker's to keep us motivated!

Maybe it's my hobby...quilting has been so much fun for me lately. It helps me relax and and think. We have to keep these cute new babies warm. Raychel had Ashlin and Trisa, Lisa, and Sheila are all having girls. Keeping the dishes done is another story.

Let me tell ya...what a challenge it is to paint a house. I covered pink, and stripes and took out shelves, repaired big holes (well I didn't do this part Jared and my dad and Jared's dad worked on them-BIG holes.) and I still have the challenge to cover deep Oil base RED. What was this family thinking?

It will look great when we are done!

It could be Autumn that keeps my life busy. She is actually a real helper. I sure love her!

Maybe it is Hunter. Well, let's just say Hunter is always keeping me busy and on my toes. He throws that cute smile at me and I can't help but love this kid, too! Even at his worst.

Exactally! What makes life busy for you may be something different than what makes me busy. Dillon just has me worried. We went to dinner and he told the waitress he loved her and wants her to be his girlfriend. He certainly isn't shy about how he feels. Chelsea told him to keep coming back to see her and that's all I've heard about all day.

How can anyone resist such a cutie!!

Crazy Kids!

Autumn loved animals. She loved this little kitten so much she hiked all over with it. (It's not our kitty. Kami's in-laws kitten)

Then I have Hunter. He loves to get ahold of my camera and this is what I get....

Then I have Dillon...He is a sweet good boy. He is learning a lot right now!! These baby donkey's were just born and not sure what to think of him. Dillon wasn't afraid to pet them. Today, he wants to go aligator hunting with his dad. OHhh!

Wow! What do you think of this house? Autumn worked hard to build it and wanted a picture.

These kids are only one reason why we haven't blogged for a month. They are lots of fun as you can see!

The hunt is on...

This post is for all my hunting girlfriends out there. Thanks to Jared and his co-worker they heard my cry's for the opportunity to hunt. After hearing Emily's experience, and Bethany's experience, and Becki's experience...I suppose I was feeling a little left out. They all have children and they were able to hunt this year. Enough excuses for staying home! It's time to hunt.

A landowner works with the Division to allow a certain number of management elk to be taken on their land and so I was able to have one of these lucky tags. Little did I know it was a last minute opportunity and the adrenaline was way intense on my part. Jared was amazing with the kids (lucky to be out of school for the day). He took them sledding, hiking, and to the local gas station for snacks. In the meantime I was horseback riding Rosie. She was the sweetest well behaved pony I've ever been on. Mike (yes, one of the 6 Mikes we know who hunts) was on the other horse with saddle bags, gun, gear, etc. He was prepared for a great day of hunting. The first 200 yards of our ride we saw over 30 elk and Mike said, "That would end your hunt too fast, but you could try for these ones? It's your hunt." We decided to ride for a little while and I was so glad because we saw an amazing 4 point deer. I had him close and in my sites and broadside, but no tag. He was just tempting me. This majestic buck tried to disappear, but we saw him 2 more times in the day. BIG TEASE! So back on the horses. Spooked out of the draw came 3 elk. Getting on them was really hard because they were moving and wouldn't turn. Missed that group. So on the horses we go. Deeper and deeper in the canyon. Side hill-group of elk-far a way-and starting to move to the next ridge...Mike was pretty confident in me and build my confidence and so a shot flew. Missed completely (but now I know the gun better). We decided to ride up to check for sign and if they were close over the next ridge. There they are! I picked a calf (mostly because Jared's dad shot a cow a week ago and so we have plenty of meat.) I made a good shot and then the work began.

Most of you know Jared's arrangement he made with me the first year married. He guts all my animals and I change dirty diapers. Well, I felt like it was his turn to deliver...so he owes Mike BIG! Lucky for me I had an excellent guide do the job. I felt like a queen riding Rose back to the truck while Mike hiked his horse with my elk back. I offered to let him ride while I walked to horse and he would hear of that.

We met the kids back at the truck and found them Sledding down the mountain top having a great time. Perfect ending to a perfect hunt.

Jared's teasing me for putting "Crystal's elk meat" on the packages. Just letting everyone know this time I brought the meat home.

Three Happy Kids

Just a quick update...fun Christmas!! Something about staying in pajamas all day and playing with the fun things that we give and recieve from Santa and your family and friends, just puts me in the Christmas Spirit. My kids are so happy today. They were happy to pass out the presents to everyone and open their own. The best was Autumn's bunny (Missy) it was hopping around a cage and making noises and lit up a spark in her. Then Hunter...how does 4 hours of Wii sound...pure heaven for him! Dillon just wants to drive his BLUE motorcycle all around and shoot everyone with his new gun-to hunt with his dad with. (funny story: he went hunting with Jared and a nurf gun. Shot at a deer and it bounced off. So disappointed he didn't get to bag the deer and take it home he says, "I know what I did wrong dad, I didn't lick it" )

Well, fun stuff on Christmas. Joy in my heart knowing that I have happy children!

Tonsilectomy

It's never a fun decision to put kids through surgery. In fact I fought the idea for over 2 years. Dillon has been healthy and happy boy, but those who know him know that he always has a runny nose. He would always be fighting a cold or we suspected allergies. After visiting 3 ENT (ear, nose, throat) Doctors and having to make a decision of living with snot or doing surgery. Well, this is the what happened.

For a week we have been creative with forts and comfy spots to lay down. We also stalked up on library movies and books to read.

He got some fun stiff to play with from the nurse.

Just after surgery...notice the 3 popcycles. His favorite was the Root Beer slushy.

He had to where his hunting camo to the hospital. He was so excited to see this mural on the wall. Primary Childrens is a wonderful hospital that did an amazing job taking care of him!

Holiday's

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We've had some fun decorating our tree. I love having the white lights on our tree every year so the colorful lights have been fun and different for us. Thanks to my parents who brought it up from South.

I can't believe these pictures of the boys sledding in grandma's back yard are all I have of Thanksgiving this year. Hunter pulled Dillon around for about an hour and then said to Dillon, "Now it's your turn to pull me." He tried and tried to pull but Hunter was to heavy. He was laughing so hard and didn't cry about it. He's a good kid.

We spent some time with Emily's family at the prop in Marysville. Emily and Hunter created a treasure hunt and the kids had so much fun! It was a quick trip south and we did spend some time with my mom in Panguitch too.

Our Halloween Holiday was spent in Washington. Kami and levi ran a 5 K with Riley and I was amazed that my kids ran the 1 mile fun run. Hunter couldn't let Autumn win so he ran harder than ever.

Oh how I miss Moses Lake! These girls are amazing! And I love that our kids all love eachother too. Autumn announced today that we are going to go back to washington next year so we can have more parties. Gotta love that Hunter pose. And Annalese put tape over here eyes just to be scary looking. Characters!

Well, Autumn was an Indian princess, Dillon a cow...I tried to pull off last minute being a Hunter and well Hunter is a Wal Mart bag. Leave it to him to think of that.

This was a fun post to do because our holidays begin with Halloween! We visited Raychel and Paul then headed to Washington to spend time with good friends and my sister's family Kami and Levi and baby Riley. So much has happened in all of this...so more to come.

At our visit with Raychel up in Logan Dillon wanted to take a bath. The only way to put on these toy glasses was to lay down. Goof! The funny thing is a week later Shay had to have the same picture just to be like Dillon. They are 5 days apart. Cute kids!

Promises

I promise that I will post more...why is life insane this time of year? So busy! Thanks for all who enjoy looking at pictures of my kids. I love having a record of what is going on throughout the year. I promise I will post pictures of my quilt I am working on, and how to make a paper box, and Autumn's baptism dress, and fun Christmas ideas and the funny picture of Dillon in the bath, and about all our fun trips we did while the kids were off track, etc.

I've been known in the past to say things in all inocents and then have them be completely opposite of what I meant...those who have done this or know me know what I am talking about. I think it is rubbing off onto my kids. Here is an example: We had some really fun times with the Burrell's not to long ago. They had to go back to their house and so we were giving them Hugs and saying goodbye. My Hunter was sandwiched inbeteen Emily and her Hunter giving hugs and he announces, "Help, I'm booby traped" That's my boy!

MEXICO

Jared was so lucky to go to Mexico in October. He has a new hobby to spear fish and was testing out his skills. I love it when he shows off his skills. :) Hopefully some of you will get to see these pictures because he told me I can't put him on my blog (hurry look before I get caught) He was able to spear this Morey Eel. He said they don't taste very good...yuck.

When I went to Cabo last year with him we saw one of these puffer fish and I think they are really cool! Quite the pile of shells, eh? When we lived in Gila Bend we would go to Puerto Penasco almost every other weekend and seeing these pictures remind me of those times. We had a lot of fun with lots of people down there. Fun Stuff!

Hunter's Field Trip

I was able to go with Hunter for his Thanksgiving Point field trip before he went off track. The followed this little boy Tyler all over and they became buddies. He has a really good teacher Miss Bell and a really good class. Most of the kids he knows from our neighborhood. They learned that chocolate milk doesn't come from a brown cow. The turkey was friendly, too! The baby animals are always so cute!

6 Years Old

Hunter turned 6 and all he wanted to do for his birthday was go to the Nickel Cade and play games with his cousins. Gma and Gpa came with Sheila, Jordan, Lexi and Parker. It was a fun day and the kids picked fun prizes at the end. My happy 6 year old. If you can't tell, the cake is a Nickel.

Eight Years Old

Autumn chose to go to the aquarium in Sandy with a few of her friends from school. We had a great time as you can see. If anyone hasn't been before it is a really neat aquarium to visit. Penguins, sting rays, sea turtles, sharks, octopus, and Autumns favorite the Jelly fish. Yes her cake is a jelly fish, can-cha tell?

HOPE KIDS

Hope Kids is a non-profit organization that allows children with life threatening conditions to Have Fun! Parker was one of the first Hope Kids and now they have a lot of children involved. They do activities for the kids like movies, little gym, storytimes, zoo days, seasonal activities like Santa and haunted houses, classic skating, and this activity. We went to Hollywood Connections (a miniture activity park)

Hope kids makes sure they designate 2-3 hours of time just for hope kids children. Free of public...because of germs. It also helps create a strong unit of families going though the same things.

I am always happy when they let extended family come and donate. We have a lot of fun playing with Parker and Alexis.

Bumper cars were a hit...The Merry-go-round was Autumn's favorite....and Mini golf was Hunter's fav. Dillon went hunting moose that day so he didn't get to come but loved spotting moose for daddy.

Autumn had a fun birthday even though we had to postpone her trip to the aquarium until Tues. (We had congunctivitus or pink eye all week) I snapped this picture one day when she was off to school awhile ago. She is so full of life and sweet goodness!

'tis the season! I like this sweet recipe that my sister Kami gave to me. It's yummy! Lots more work ahead of me. The Apple tree is full of apples to be dried and the peaches are spoiling fast. Not to mention my 3 little helpers need cared for.

Speaking of helpers how do you teach your kids how to work? Here's a few tips that I found work for my kids:

*Music
*Face card game (they pick up what the card says to pick up example: 5 is 5 things. Jokers are a treat and I put one King and one Queen in there when they get to tell me what to do and be King for the day)
*Job charts (only sometimes work)
*Routine (which I am terrible at)
*Tape recorder (mother-in-law's idea...you record on a tape player what jobs to complete and then when the kids perform the job they can push play again)
*Drill Sargent-I am the sarg. and they are the kaddets and I give orders and reward the good and discipline the bad-5 push ups.
*Bribes (candy, movie, surprise, etc.)
*Just ask...is it really that easy? Not in my family. I need some new ideas!

They are good little toopers when they want to be. That is why they spent 3 hours cleaning their rooms today...how exhausting can that be? (sarcastic of course)

Froggy Fun

"Daddy, did you bring us home a surprise?" I can hear the sounds of Dad's footsteps coming through the front door and wonder myself...what's the surprise this time? Oh, what fun things Jared brings home! Jared is such a wonderful dad for our kids. We've had some fun animals in our house!

One of my favorite was in Arizona I came home from a walk and hear a scratching noise in my cupboard. Couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from and decided I didn't want to know. (mostly fear of a scorpion, snake, or trianchula.) When he came home he announced that he was collecting lizards for lizard races at the Branch activity coming up.

I had about 12 lizards and a horned toad all shapes and sizes in bottles for a few days. Kids loved them. This is a cute frog.

Timpanogos Cave

Aunt Jessica had lived in Utah her whole life and had never hiked to Timpanogos Caves...so off we went on the trail one Saturday before she headed off to college. I was so glad that we had an adult for every kid. The hike was 1.5 miles and a steady climb uphill and cliffy at times. Dillon loved to be carried by Jessica, practically the whole way there and back. I took my turn but didn't last long.

In the caves, the kids were asking the tour guide all kinds of questions. Dillon wanted to know if everything was the Heart of Timp. When we finally arrived at the Heart, he jumped up and down as if he had found a great treasure. Almost near the end, he asked the tour guide, "excuse me, How did you make all of this?" the whole group laughed and she said she didn't make it water and the mountains made it. He was okay with that answer and kept going.

The kids became Jr. Rangers and had to complete certain tasks to get their badges. We had a lot of fun in the activity books. If you ever get lucky enough to hike the caves, be prepared for a big hike, a fun tour, and becoming a Jr. Ranger and watch out for snakes (there are signs for rattlesnakes all over the trail and Autumn was on guard!)

New Hard Drive

Well, I got a new external hard drive and put all my pictures on it for my computer to run faster...sure runs faster, but I have to figure it out to post my pictures from it. I will get it someday. The kids have sure missed their dad this week. I am what you'd call a Hunter's Widow in the fall (well, most of the year) but especially in the fall. Sheep hunting is what has him entrapped now and he is loving it.

Dillon has a hunting box full of toy bullets and a toy dog and his hunter's orange. Hunter is practicing his bow every now and then. Autumn just misses JOAD terribly. (Closed for hunting season) I think they have a little of their dad in them. I try to "craft" why he is away and the kids can only grasp that concept a little...so I guess they have a little of me in them, too!

Rain, Rain

Don't you just love umbrella's? My boys sure do! They ran in and out of the driveway while it was first a sprinkle, then a drizzle, then really raining. They loved it until it was truly a downpour and then it just scared them with the intense thunder and flashes of lighting. Sometimes it would get so close it was enough to scare me! Nature is truly amazing!

Swimming Fun

Elementary

Nice shades Dillon. On good days we ride our bikes to school. Hunter's first day of school was perfect. He couldn't wait to go and we headed out just in time. Dillon said, "this is a big ride" and made me pull him all the way home. The next day I told him his bike says Rock It on it so he made it all the way (a little over a mile).

Kindergarten is an experience for any 4-5 year old but for my Hunter it was great! (can't leave out the experience of the mother. I did have the butterflies in my tummy and for 3 hours kept looking at the clock) You can tell he was a little nervous and was looking for me. He saw me and then smiled big and waved goodbye and off he went.

Handsome Fella!!!

1st day of school...Autumn in 2nd grade. I was lucky to get this snap shot of her cute smile and outfit before she took off to find her new class. I love having the kids learn all kinds of things good and bad (more love the good than the bad) It's helping my kids grow so I love it. Isn't she full of excitement. I couldn't help but love and appreciate her for all she is.

Trampoline Fun

ATTACK HUNTER B.- my Hunter took this picture and thought it was so funny to attack Hunter Burrell. They are having a blast pestering this boy...and you can tell he loves to be pestered.

Thanks to Julie and Jeff (Jared's sister and Brother-in-law) we have a fun tramp. The kids have had a ball on it!! (Just a note: Autumn dressed Dillon up like a baby and played mommy-that explains the bib and pink shorts which are really baby pants.)

Hiking

We all took a hike up Yellow Fork last week and on the drive Dillon say's, "When I was a baby I came here before" We get out of the car and he says with passion, "Oh, I belong here." Every biker, horse rider, runner, hiker that came around he said, "Hey, I belong here!"

We saw rabbits, lizards, 6 bucks 12 does, heard the coyote sing, it was a fun hike.

Pet for the Day

Would you know that my kids love animals? Mostly the wild ones. This jar is full of a backyard wild pet. You can see one right in the middle of the jar. Any guesses? Well they are a little bug found in standing water...any guesses now? If you guessed Mosquito Larvae you are the WINNER! scratch-Autumn, Hunter and Dillon spent an hour catching all these little buggers and wanted to see them hatch...so they hatched-scratch. Well like any animal that needs to breath the lid had holes in the top-scratch-so before we could stop them they were free in the house-scratch. I have to say I was glad to have stocked up on cortizone cream-scratch.

Swim Lessons

The Kids had Swim lessons this last week. Dillon loved it so much! They let him go off the diving board and now he thinks he can go anytime he wants. FEARLESS!

Autumn had so much fun, too! Her favorite swim is the Dolphin kick. Hard to do but loves to pretend she is a mermaid swimming in a lagoon on a beach.

OH, Hunter. What can I say about him...1/2 way through lessons he graduated to 2nd level and used some swim goggles. I didn't get a picture of the goggles but imagine his cute smile and ears pushed down and there you have my Hunter swimmer. He thought he was cool stuff learning front to back and flips and how to back float all by himself. (maybe I can snap a picture with his goggles in the future)

Pioneer Park

Hoping for a wonderful pioneer village experience? Visit Pioneer park at This is the Place Monument. We had only a few hours there and the kids had a wonderful experience learning about Indian culture, new pioneer development and what life they had and also how to pan for gold and trade it in at the bank. The Ice Cream was good too!

Navajo Indian culture still active in Utah. Would you know that this abode has so many symbolisms? My favorite one is the dome represents a pregnant belly and 9 sections of walls represent the 9 months of gestation.
What good children to sit and listen to the presentation. I loved it when she said, "Do you have any questions?" Dillon says, "Why do you have those rocks?" The funny thing is everyone else asked questions about the sheep skin rugs, the flour they use to make fry bread, or about the baby carrier (which was cool) but Dillon just wanted to know why they have rocks. :)

Recently, we had some friends visit Utah (Corrine and Hunter Burrell) and I was so lucky to take the kids for a day to Classic Skating. We skated our little hearts out. We stayed there all day and went back in the evening with my sister and her kids. My camera died so I only got 1 picture with Valorie and Dillon in the evening.

Our zoo pass expired and this is the last day that we spent at the zoo. We had a lot of fun this year using our pass and sharing it with all our friends. This is Jessica (Jared's sister) Laura and the kids came with us also. It was fun on the rides and the playground, but the most fun was watching little baby Zuri (elephant) play in the mud and water. She is adorable...almost as cute as my kids. :)

More summer fun

Dillon is a hit with everyone even strangers. We had a fun yard sale on Saturday and he was dressed in a gorilla costume. He runs out to strangers saying "Gorrr-ill-ahhhh" and thought he was pretty funny. He also burped the other day and I said, "what was that?" He says, "It was my Honk"

Hunter was cute. He decided to sale his lemonade for $1.oo I had to teach him that 10 cents was not a dollar. He wants to save some money to go to Classic Jungle Gym...(I think it is a rip off) Oh, what do you do?

Autumn was cute also, she sold her lemonade and some fun things that she had and was enjoying batting her eyes and having people say she was so cute.

Family Reunion

24th of July Parade It was fun for the kids to dress up and be on the float and in the parade. Hunter and Dillon just loved grabbing candy.
Ran the 5K fun run in the early morning 15 of my family ran/walked it. The most amazing was Raychel ran it 5 months pregnant (and beat me) and Kami walked it with only 6 weeks left in her pregnancy. #15 is baby Wilson and he was the last one to cross the finish line. (Kami made her tummy the last one in). Ryan and Alisa won awards for their times.

Sheila did a great job with the games and planning the Reunion. It was really fun to see the kids all playing together and making memories.
The best was River fun! We tubed our hearts out. I think I changed Dillon's clothes 5 times one day because the water was to tempting. One thing I know is plan on lots of socks and shoes when you go to the Ranch...Socks get dirty fast and shoes always get wet!

Soldier Creek Crawdads

What is all the fun about? Autumn begged to go to Strawberry and fish for crawdads. It sprinkled a little, but that didn't stop the kids. They built a village of crawdads in a rock cave and wanted to keep them for their pets...instead we ate them for dinner. I know my kids are weird.

When we first got there Dillon said, "Oh, awesome, cool, and creepy." And then he discovered that they can pinch and made the "crabs" pinch sticks, roots, and clothes. I was just waiting for him to have them pinch his skin.

They sure had a lot of fun and it was worth the drive just to see their sweet smiles!

Work Hard, Play Hard

Well, the saying is true. Work hard, play hard. The kids have had a way fun summer and we just took a really fun trip to Panguitch. We had 2 family reunions, went 4-wheeling, tubing, swimming, fishing, camping, and played lots of games with cousins. The best one is a game called ninja. Everyone stands in a circle and says, "Ninja Attack" then you try to hit someones hand to get them out. We ended up in some funny positions because you freeze after you take your turn. It was funny when I tried to hit Sheila's hand and was obviously to short to reach it.

Another funny thing was Dillon and his "Dire" or fire. He was so excited when we toasted marshmellows for smores and sparks were flying. He would yell "Arks from the Dire" and stomp them out.

The kids made lots of fun memories and are asking me already, "When are we going back to Panguitch?" I've been home 2 days and am absolutely wiped out.

Wow what an archer. She Robin Hooded an arrow at JOAD the other day and so Jared took her to an archery range. She was "ON Target"
This yellow bellied warbler flew into the truck window and the kids got to hold it. Way fun!

Hunter and I took a trip to Panguitch this weekend and Autumn and Hunter went with Jared fishing, camping and hiking. It was an adventure. We drove with Alexis and Sheila. We entered the freeway and Alexis says "We're almost there" Hunter says, "Well, I think we have about 30 or 40 more miles." Seat belt treats were a must!

We attended Aunt Nucile's (my mothers sister) funeral and it was really nice. Mom gave a tribute to her that was so good. The songs and other talks were really good too. This is a picture of all of the brothers and sisters and Aunt Nucile is in blue. It was in April.

And Party some more!!!! Grandma GREAT Sheffer had her annual birthday party. Every year she makes the best homemade rootbeer and then serves it at her party....well she will never live it down when one year she doubled the yeast in her recipe. At the party bottoms of bottles were flying off and people were acting pretty funny, the lids were used for weapons against each other, my sister and cousing Teri might have gotten some of that batch...J/K it was alright.

Well as promised months later, here are some fun pictures from Dillon's 3 year birthday party. Cutest cupcakes I've ever made...Love having the internet to find ideas.

Crazy about Baby Chicks

Well, I was outside taking some pictures of the kids on their bikes and I hear Autumn in the chicken pen. When I went to look for her, this is what I found. How she got in there I will never know.

You would think that the earth was coming to an end when she discovered her chick was missing one day. We found it under the wood pile about an hour later...the funny thing was Jared reached under there and touched it, wasn't expecting it to be there...well it made us all laugh!!!

Hunter lost his 2nd tooth. He kept going to bed a little to late for the tooth fairy to come and the 3rd night look at what she brought. It's the coolest dollar I've ever seen. A happy little boy!

So, went out to our property and took some fun pictures. I thought you'd enjoy them and hope that you can help us find a buyer for Junk....or not. I am really excited for some good weather and do some clean-up out there and get building. Don't you just adore my new home!

So the other day, Autumn says, "mom how old are you?" So I tell her and she says, "your not to old to have more kids, you have to be 40." Aaaaaaaaa!

We're on a drive past a lake and she says, "wow, I wouldn't want to be in that boat look at all those bottle caps!" (white caps) then I correct her and say, "Oh, those are called white caps." She says no mom they look like blue caps"

Dillon says, "I want to go in that boat!" and Hunter say's, "I just want a transformer motorcycle...ya know, just because, I don't care."

Dillon says, "I want some pink bunny milk" (Strawberry milk) Autumn says, "how about some choc. moose milk" Then she starts laughing and says, "I've never heard of milking a moose" HA HA HA

This is what we hear all day long...silly kids...we sure love them!!!

Remembering Aunt Beth

On occasion, an event or death makes someone think about life and how fragile it is. There is an eternal perspective to keep in mind, although sometimes it is hard to remember. Aunt Beth died in a car accident last Saturday. Her funeral was a good remembrance of her life and what a special person she was. She love her family, the gospel, and animals. I loved her smile and determination to keep life going even though it was rough. I love Aunt Beth and hope to always remember the eternal perspective.

A 203 and a 4th pin

Autumn is amazing at her archery skill...she shot a 203 and had NO misses! I am so proud of her. She loves the sport and has taken to the program so well. She has a Diamond bow that she got for Christmas...(she asked Santa for it) Lindsey another archer was bragging about her bow and said that it cost over $300, so Autumn replies, "my bow was free I got it from Santa" Oh, how I love her sweetness. Now the trick is moving up from 9 meters to 18 meters. Luckly, she only has to reach 30 points to progress to the next pin. She can earn up to 8 pins and I hear that it can take years to accomplish. GOOD LUCK AUTUMN! She loves to share her fun with others and was so happy to have Hunter, Corrine and Lanie join us from Oregon last week. I am still trying to figure out how to find there pictures. Fun stuff!

Well, I am now officially new to the blogging world. I don't know what I am doing so this is hopefully not hard and lots of fun. I am excited to be on the computer and love having it in my home. (other than computer games that take time and kids attention away from reading)
